In need of a band, offering free studio time

I'll make another post within the next week or so with more details, including the website for the actual studio, but for right now I'm just going to throw this out there: I'm studying audio engineering at Loyola Marymount University and one of my projects this semester is to get some musicians to come into the studio during one of our class sessions on Tuesdays. Set up at 9am, sound check at 10, and from 10 to about 2pm is the actual recording session. Quality over quantity is stressed so we could potentially get 2 songs done, maybe 3. I need a band that's serious about the commitment that would be made. The date chosen is the date you have to be there, or else you screw me out of 40,000 dollars tuition and I'm stuck in school for another year, and I will not be cool with that- so, for me, this is serious. I'm here because I want to work with musicians and I want to help musicians reach their goals, and so I intend to choose musicians that are looking to take advantage of a good opportunity. It's free studio time and in the end, a free demo for you. If nothing else, it's good practice for you and for me.

Right now I'm taking names. Genre isn't exclusive- I'm open to any style. If you're in a band or know a band that is interested, please leave a comment with your website(s) and email that is best for me to use to contact you.

Another project this semester is getting a band to come from 12-2pm to play a 30-45 minute set. Again, it's a class activity and effort. If you're interested in this but not the first opportunity, or vice versa, (or both!), let me know.

I've been working with musicians since I was 15 and I sincerely appreciate all the musicians that I've worked with in the past and I look forward to working with you.
